Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is excited to welcome Wendy Davidson and Dr. Walter Orenstein to the Global Board of Trustees.
Wendy Davidson returns to the RMHC Global Board of Trustees having previously served as a Board member from 2019 to 2021. Ms. Davidson is the President & CEO of The Hain Celestial Group and brings more than 25 years of experience in the branded CPG, retail, and foodservice industries. Prior to Hain, Ms. Davidson’s record of accomplishment spans organizations such as Glanbia Performance Nutrition, the Kellogg Company, McCormick & Company, and Tyson Foods, Inc. She was named a Chicago Business Journal 2021 Women of Influence Honoree and was among Crain’s 2020 list of Notable Women Executives over 50.
Previously granted an Award of Excellence by RMHC, Dr. Walter Orenstein now joins the RMHC Global Board of Trustees. Dr. Orenstein is a Professor of Medicine, Epidemiology, Global Health, and Pediatrics at Emory University, as well as Director of the Emory Program for Vaccine Policy and Development and Associate Director of The Emory Vaccine Center. He was also the Principal Investigator of the Center of Excellence for Influenza Research and Surveillance. An expert in infectious diseases and vaccines, his extensive career includes leadership roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including Director of the United States Immunization Program.
